London Weekend Study Trip - FRIDAY 13th April - SUNDAY 15th April 2012

A study trip to London is the ideal way to put your English study into practice. There is no better place to learn English than London and it's only 2 hours and 20 minutes away from Paris by train (and easily accessible from the rest of Europe) so why not take advantage of this and join LetThemTalk on their short term study trip to London? You'll study a bit, you'll get to spend time in this wonderful city and you'll have the opportunity to speak English in real situations outside the class.

The course will take place over a weekend. You'll arrive in London Friday evening and leave on Sunday evening. Activities are planned for Saturday and Sunday. The English teaching course will be 100% spoken. The teacher will guide your conversation and correct your mistakes and offer explanations of the grammar and help enrich your vocabulary.

English Lessons Each Morning at the Café

The English lessons will take place on Saturday and Sunday mornings in small groups and will be led by a native English teacher. It's a conversation course where you'll talk on a range of interesting subjects chosen by you or by the teacher. The English courses will take place in a friendly cafe rather than in a classroom.

We hope you will be practising English throughout your stay not just during the lessons. So, we've arranged the weekend to give you ample opportunity to speak and listen to English.

Guided Tour in London in English

In addition to the English teaching we will organise a guided tour in English led by a native Londoner. Around 2 hours on foot in an interesting and historic part of London.

Taste English Cuisine

An evening out to visit a pub and a restaurant where you can enjoy fine London cuisine (yes really!).

And of course you'll also have lots of free time to explore what London. It's a truly magnificent city with something for everyone.

Friday 13^th April (Eurostar 19:13 Paris, Gare du Nord – arrive 20:41 London, St Pancras)

Return Sunday 15^th April Eurostar 18:01 From London, St Pancras arrive 21:17 Paris, Gare du Nord)

Friday 13^th April – meet at 6pm at Gare du Nord (for those who booked the Eurostar with us).

Saturday 14^th April 10:30am – 12:30pm English conversation course at a cafe in central London. A conversation course led by a teacher in small groups usually between 3 and 7 people.

Saturday 2pm – 4pm Guided tour of London on foot in an historic part of London. In English.

Saturday 8pm meet for dinner (at a restaurant in central London).

Sunday 15^th April 10:30am – 12:30pm. English conversation course at a cafe in central London. A conversation course led by a teacher in small groups usually between 3 and 7 people.

Sunday 1pm – lunch at an English pub.

Sunday 5pm – Meet at Eurostar terminal to catch train back to Paris.
